In contrast to the Ultra-Light Aging these “lightly aged” models are extremely difficult to obtain and have enormous delivery times. And with this Les Paul in particular the guys from Murphy Lab have once again shown exactly what they are capable of. The fantastic Lemon Burst finish alone is simply fascinating. Wonderful top grain, fantastic color tone that reveals a fabulous vintage patina. Of course this is mainly due to the excellent light aging, which in my opinion is the most authentic way of capturing the actual appearance of real old ones. Numerous hairline cracks, just a few minor imperfections and a beautifully weathered paint surface. The pictures speak for themselves! From the very first time you pick up this gorgeous Paula you can feel the phenomenal feel of the neck. Its 59 Medium profile sits perfectly in the hand, which combined with its dream weight of just 3780 grams makes the guitar so comfortable to play that you would love to take it to bed with you at night. And the wonderful Custombuckers do their bit to make this Paula a phenomenal overall package. Together with the guitar's superb vibration behavior they offer the classic, smacking 59 PAF sound, for which these instruments are so loved. Direct, differentiated with a fast response.
