After we were allowed to offer already two Murphybursts (9 9156 and 9 9157) now comes with the third in the bunch (9 9159) the absolute hammer package. This 59 Les Paul Murphy aged was built for the Japanese dealer Yamano and with these guitars special attention was always paid to selected tops. As you know, the '99 Murphybursts were still lacquered according to the old varnishing process and here the sought-after Honduras Mahogany was used. The previous owner also had a certified Brazilian fretboard installed. The installation was done perfectly and in my opinion better than the original Gibson work. The frets are perfectly dressed and the binding fits seamlessly. You almost can't get any closer to the original from 59. Incredibly good Les Paul that I've been playing regularly the last few days and it's really hard to give this good one away. Exceptionally beautiful tone. For me one of the best Les Pauls in the clean range. Reminiscent of the Knopfler Les Paul sounds. Distorted beautiful warm, differentiated sound with endless sustain. Dream Les Paul !!!
