Even though the Gibson Custom Shop now produces in larger quantities, each guitar is still unique. This becomes especially clear with a Les Paul like this '59 Reissue in Ice Tea Burst, because you rarely see such an individual flametop. The irregular and detailed flame is reminiscent of the real old Bursts, which almost never had a 100% symmetrical top. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, one wow experience chases the next here. And what it promises visually, it also delivers as an instrument. The first thing that stands out is the very pleasant weight of 3.6 kg, which makes handling the guitar very comfortable. The neck has the classic 59 profile, which should sit well in the hand of just about anyone. And sonically it takes no prisoners either, singing like a Burst should. As an improvement, the previous owner replaced the Gibson pots with pots from Vintage Inspired Guitarparts. This is noticeable by the fact that the control path is even more linear and you can work even more controlled with Volume and Tone. A noticeable difference! The guitar comes to you with minor play marks on the back and the original pots in the case.
