It is rare to find one of the coveted 92 pre-historic Les Pauls in this condition. The guitar was bought by the first owner in 1992 and has only been kept in its case since then. But in addition to its pristine condition this Paula has an incredibly beautiful top. Three-dimensional flamed graining at its very best! Only the sound and playability can compete with the flawless appearance. The neck has a super comfortable medium profile, which lies between a 59 and 60 profile. It sits perfectly in the hand and plays fantastically in conjunction with the perfectly dressed, mint frets and an ideal weight of 4095 grams. The guitar is also characterized by a super resonance behavior, is very open and balanced. In terms of sound, the rich, warm mids are inspiring, the highs are clear and radiant and the basses bark beautifully when the strings are played aggressively and are otherwise pleasantly purring. Played clean, the sound is enormously nuanced and three-dimensional, with distortion it is smacky and fat. Although this Les Paul is as good as unplayed it sounds like it has been played for 30 years. This guitar is an absolute first choice for both collectors and players.
