We've seen quite a few CC1s and Hammet-Greenys by now, but when we opened the case of this Les Paul we thought we'd unexpectedly received yet another Greeny. Incredibly authentic Lemon Burst with a super Ultra Heavy Aging from the Murphy Lab giving this guitar that characteristic vintage look that you immediately associate with Peter Green and Gary Moore. But the first-class quality of this Paula doesn't stop at the look. With a not-too-heavy 59 Medium profile with rounded shoulders its neck sits excellently and extremely comfortably in the hand, which in combination with an ideal weight of 3840 grams guarantees the very best playability. And in terms of sound nothing is left to be desired: despite the Les Paul's dream weight it resonates at its finest. The two Custombuckers transmit this excellent vibration behavior perfectly to the amp. Here you can always hear the characteristic, woody basic character and this Paula delivers exactly the mids and pearly highs that are associated with old PAFs. Enormously differentiated, on the neck with a phenomenal tone à la "Still Got the Blues'", on the bridge pure Rock, super fat and snappy!
