This 1959 Murphy Lab Ultra Heavy Aging Les Paul is not only something for the eye, but this guitar makes every player's dream come true! It is one of the few guitars that you don't want to put down. With a dream weight of only 3620 grams, which is unbelievable for a Les Paul, it offers a wonderfully resonant basic character. This great vibration behavior corresponds perfectly with the pleasant medium neck profile. Not too thin and not too thick, it lies excellently in the hand and plays fantastically. This is matched by the sound, open, direct and very balanced, every nuance is transmitted to the amp. The two Custombuckers allow you to move in differentiated worlds: at the bridge pure Rock'n'Roll - smacking, fat with enough bite and mids, transparent and dynamic. At the neck Blues heaven, almost a certain Strat character as made for open, bluesy sounds! And the finish on this killer Paula is out of this world. The guys at the Murphy Lab have outdone themselves again. The aging is phenomenally authentic, as well as the complete look of the guitar reflects the look of an original old Burst. Simply an instrument with a gorgeous look and best player characteristics. The guitar is in mint top condition including the frets, practically unplayed. Unfortunately, after delivery from Gibson a volume poti had to be replaced, making it necessary to touch the corresponding solder joints. However, this was taken into account by us in the pricing and so we are extremely pleased to be able to offer you this lightweight dream player with authentic look and best sound at a killer price.
