When you see this guitar you can't help but think of Joe Perry's '59 Les Paul that he sold to Slash and got back from him years later for his 50th birthday. Beautiful finish in Kindred Burst with top grain that even we rarely get to see. Incredible flame, excellent bookmatching, great gradient and all with a fantastic Ultra Heavy Aging from Murphy Lab. The Paula is covered with countless hairline cracks and quirks, showing enormous wear in exactly those places where such wear is the inevitable result of decades of playing. But we're especially thrilled by its special patina: matte in places, super authentic with exactly the vintage look you know from old Les Pauls from the golden age. We are known to be huge fans of Murphy Lab, but what the guys have created in the look of this guitar is just phenomenal! Our lightweight here (only 3800 grams) also offers great playing comfort and has a super tonal character: the neck with its 59-medium profile just invites you to glide over it for hours, the two Custombuckers bring the guitar's fantastic dry sound to the amp with great sustain and substance. Played clean, extremely nuanced, plastic and three-dimensional, with distortion smacky, fat and uncompromising. The guitar from 2022 is in mint, nearly unplayed condition. You definitely shouldn't miss this one!
