For Ace Frehley, Gary Moore and Paul Kossoff Lemon Burst was the coolest color a Les Paul could have. We are also always completely thrilled when we get our hands on a Paula with this legendary finish. And it doesn't get much better than this guitar. This '59 Les Paul gets the highest score in all aspects. First of all a great look! Unbelievable what the guys from Murphy Lab have delivered here again. Fantastically aged and not at all too timid with countless hairline cracks, quirks and abrasions, super authentic. The beautiful Lemon Burst top, immediately reminiscent of a CC8 (Beast) or CC1 (Greeny), fascinates with its interesting grain, which reveals new details from every angle. Then, when you take the guitar in your hand, you immediately fall in love with the neck. Authentic '59 medium profile with the rounded shoulders, not too thick, not too thin. Exactly the golden '59 medium, which is extremely comfortable to play. And the first time you strum it you immediately get a big grin. This Paula resonates at its best. The two Custombuckers transfer this top vibration behavior to the amp in the best possible way. Here you can always hear the characteristic, wooden basic character of the guitar. At the bridge most wonderful Gary Moore sounds. Smacking with great attack and enough bite and midrange. At the neck heavenly Blues with the little shot of "Strat" not missing to create a round, pearly sound. Nothing muddy here and the super sustain makes for singing lead sounds. Really remarkable what a gem we can offer you here. The frets show no signs of play. Only the solder joints of the volume potis had to be redone on this killer Paula from 2022, otherwise it is in mint condition.
