Here we have without a doubt one of the most visually beautiful Les Paul special series to come out of the Gibson Custom Shop in recent years. The Lee Roy Parnell Les Paul impresses both with a fantastic top grain and the "Abilene Sunset Burst" finish, which reflects the play of colors of a Texas sunset - fitting for the namesake, who is one of the blues and country heroes of the Lone Star State. Also as a player, the guitar is not ordinary. For one thing, it comes with the chunky "Lee Roy Parnell Custom 59" neck profile, and for another, there are two 57 Classic humbuckers installed here, known for their super-authentic PAF sound. A top match with the resonant basic character of the guitar. Even the thick neck does not cause any problems in practice, quite the opposite - the playing feel is so pleasant that you really forget about time here. Although the serial number 005 gives the guitar a collector's factor, we can also fully recommend it to you as a player. Especially since there are already slight belt buckle marks on the back, which means you don't have to be so hellishly careful here. Apart from that, the guitar is in top condition.
