Only 150 specimens of the VOS version of the Les Paul Joe Perry were produced in 2013, which were of course completely sold out shortly after their release. And once you've held one in your hand you'll know why. Directness, warmth, transparency and assertiveness are perfectly balanced here. Only the playing style decides whether you want aggressive Rock sounds, snappy clean tones or singing lead sounds from the amp. Smacking, differentiated with the very characteristic tone that we know and love from Aerosmith and Guns 'N Roses. “Train Kept A Rollin'”, ‘November Rain’ - that's the sound of this guitar! Both clean and distorted it has a vivid and energetic sound that is simply fun to play! In terms of playability, this guitar is also in the absolute top league: perfectly lightweight at just 3790 grams, which optimizes the combination of playability and vibration characteristics. The neck has a comfortable Medium 59 profile, so that after a short time you don't even notice it as you fly over the fingerboard. In addition, the “Faded Tobacco Sunburst” finish ensures a beautiful look, which culminates in the formidable top grain. You couldn't wish for more from a Les Paul! The guitar was played a lot by the previous owner and is perfectly swung in. There are various belt buckle scratches on the back and the characteristic faded areas to round off the phenomenal vintage look. Otherwise the guitar is in very good condition. Simply a killer player with far above average sound and a dream weight!
