This Les Paul, which you want to welcome with the words "Welcome to the Jungle" after the first look, was custom made by the Gibson Custom Shop as part of the extremely limited "Inspired by" series of Musikhaus Hermann after personal wood selection by Jörg Hermann. The inspiration for this guitar was of course the "Appetite for Destruction" Paula of Saul Hudson, better known as Slash, guitarist of Guns'n'Roses, Slash's Snakepit, Velvet Revolver etc. And the "InSaul" here shows all the characteristics of the original: zebra pickups, non-matching poti knobs, hairline cracks and significant wear and tear as you would expect from a guitar that Slash had in his hands for decades. And at the same time you fall in love with the insane sound of this Les Paul. The Seymour Duncan Slash Alnico-II pickups conjure up the signature sound you know and love from the "Appetite for Destruction" and "Use your Illusion" albums. On the clean amp the pickups sound warm, clear, balanced and punchy. The neck pickup really smacks, delivers fat, bluesy and even jazzy sounds. The bridge pickup on the other hand shines with crisper, more concise mids without missing any warmth. With tight basses and velvety smooth highs the sound picture finds its final rounding. With excellent dynamics the pickups support the outstanding sustain of the guitar. Just as musically as in clean mode the pickups also articulate at the distorting amp, lose neither transparency nor dynamics, sing above average and are very overtone-friendly. If you want to be as close as possible to the original, you've come to the right place! We are pleased to offer you this strictly limited replica of an absolute iconic guitar in mint condition.
