When a guitar comes from the collection of Oliver Hartmann (Avantasia, Edguy, Hartmann) you can be sure it's not a bad one. On the contrary, the Les Paul that the German power metal icon has brought us here takes the cake in several ways. The most obvious is the dreamlike flametop, which has a really hypnotic effect on the viewer with its tight, irregular grain. Predicate: killer top! But also in terms of playability and on the amp the guitar is in no way inferior to its look. Great medium neck, which should suit just about everyone. The sound is - how could it be otherwise - predestined for Rock: super tight low end meets a fast response and pearly trebles. With distortion the sun really rises here and the fantastic string separation ensures that nothing sounds muddy – even with a lot of gain. Always differentiated, very dynamic and still fat: that's what you want! In addition there is the great weight of under 3.8 kg. Of course this Les Paul got some small traces of playing - but you can only see them on the second or third glance and also photographically it was not easy to capture them. The frets are still in top condition.
