You can only rave about this Les Paul in superlatives! Of course tastes differ, but for us this is an absolute dream Paula. In the aged version the Gibson Custom Shop only produced 150 specimens of the Duane Allman in 2013. As a result they are now almost impossible to find on the second-hand market, which of course guarantees the best value stability. And like all the Allman Paulas we have had so far this instrument should not be reduced to a collector's item steeped in history with great rarity value, as it also offers above-average playability and fantastic sound characteristics. Rarely have we experienced a Les Paul that is so three-dimensional and dynamic. Sounds like it' has been played for 30 years. Super open and resonant with a fabulous tone! Nothing muddies here and it transmits every nuance of attack perfectly. Super sustain and the '59-Medium neck, combined with a dream weight of just 3810 grams, the slightly higher frets and the rounded shoulders, plays brilliantly. The Custombuckers transmit the great dry sound to the amp in the finest way, no mud or muck. And then this look... Dream top, wildly flamed, great aging and with black pickups without covers. Simply to kneel down! Of the 150 Duane Allman Les Paul guitars built in the Aged version, this is certainly one of the absolute highlights from this series. ...and the whole thing is still in top condition. You definitely shouldn't wait too long for this one!
