We are extremely pleased to be able to offer you another specimen of the legendary Allman Paula. In the aged version the Gibson Custom Shop only produced 150 specimens in 2013. Certainly they are now almost impossible to find on the second-hand market and their prices are constantly rising as a result. So we are delighted to be able to offer you such a rare item today with the low serial number 025. However, this Les Paul Duane Allman should not just be seen as a collector's item as it is also a top player. Weighing just 3820 grams this is a fantastically vibrating lightweight. Super open with a great sound. Nothing is muddy here and every nuance of touch is transmitted perfectly. Super sustain and the 59-Medium neck plays brilliantly with the slightly higher frets and the rounded shoulders. The Custombuckers transmit the above-average dry sound fantastically. Then there's the really great top. Wildly flamed, together with the black Custombuckers simply a dream look! ...and the guys from the Custom Shop have done a great job with the aging, replicating the original guitar with countless hairline cracks and all kinds of dings and dongs in exactly the right places. The guitar will be delivered to its future owner in top condition.
