I've always been into black Les Pauls and this Blackbusrt CC#34 is exactly my cup of tea. First of all because of the sound. Here it shows again that a few grams more have a positive effect on the sound. This Les Paul sings from the very best, super sustain also in the upper registers, sharp attack and a smacking tone. The overtones just jump out and you can shape the sound with your fingers. Here nothing muddy and even open chords remain distorted beautifully transparent. Only 100 of the Blackburst were built. Originally it was a 59 Sunburst Flamed-Top, which was then painted black. Like it was often done in the 60's as a custom build for customers. The picture of the Les Paul with the original color before painting is included. Truly a killer Les Paul that I highly recommend to any player. Except for a few minimal play marks, the guitar is in top condition.
