If you are looking for a Collectors Choice Les Paul with the best price-performance ratio, you can't miss the CC#6 "Number One". The Collectors Choice #6 is an exact replica of Mike Slubowski's '59 Les Paul, also known as "Number One". This original is probably one of the best-preserved Les Pauls from the golden year of 1959. The CC#6 at hand, a lightweight at only 3975 grams, has extremely subtle ghost flames making it look like a plain top from some angles. Exceedingly authentic! The aging here has been relatively subtle to reflect the top condition of the original. The neck is comparatively a bit thicker than most other CCs, approaching a 58 neck. Not too fat by any means, but the beefier neck certainly affects the guitar's fantastic vibration response. At the amp the two Custombuckers show where the hammer hangs. Smacky and mid-range Rock sound, roasting and uncompromising! Here one brings all tubes to glow. This is exactly how one imagines the optimal Rock-Paula! Except for minimal playing marks on the first frets, minor belt buckle scratches on the back and a slight discoloration in the upper area of the body (see photos) we can offer this tone monster to you in top condition. Of course we have taken the insignificant quirks into account in the price, which gives you the opportunity to take this absolute sound monster out of the case and play it extensively without a guilty conscience, despite its high collector's value.
