What can you write about the CC#1 "Greeny" that the world doesn't already know? Certainly the most sought-after Les Paul from the Gibson Custom Shop and the world's most famous Les Paul, which was owned by Gary Moore and Peter Green and now still sees the light of the biggest stages with Kirk Hammett. Only 125 specimens were produced in the aged version, faithfully modeled on the original '59 model. And this CC#1 with the serial number 098 is also super authentic with an extremely detailed aging that only Tom Murphy can do. Whether in the selection of the top wood, the coloring in the most beautiful Lemon Burst or the meticulous replication of the characteristic signs of use, Tom always had the legendary original in mind. But this Paula also impresses as a player across the board. Despite a top weight of just 3835 grams and the associated playing comfort the guitar still offers enough swing mass to really rock out. Of course the 59-Medium neck profile, which sits fabulously in the hand, also contributes to the very best playability. Killer sound! Like all the "Greenys" we've had in our hands so far this guitar is already swinging dry at its very best and it really kicks ass on the amp, including the characteristic "out of phase" sound. "Albatross", "Still Got the Blues" and "Parisienne Walkways" - these are exactly the tunes that this Paula is made for. Top look, great playability and the best sound - everything is just right here! And the fact that the price of the CC1 "Greeny" has risen steadily in recent years is of course not to be ignored. So we would like to congratulate the new owner, who has secured a gem of music history in top condition.
