We really are huge fans of the 60th Anniversary Paulas as almost every instrument here is immaculately crafted and simply sounds great. And this gem is no exception! The dynamic, fat and smacky sound of the Custombuckers is immediately reminiscent of old PAFs and the playing feel with the '59 Medium neck is far more comfortable than with some vintage guitars. Of course this also has to do with the ideal weight of 3980 grams, which guarantees the very best playing characteristics on the one hand and gives this Les Paul more than enough swing mass on the other. Added to this is the beautifully grained top in "Iced Tea Burst" with an extremely attractive color gradient and the extremely authentic VOS finish, which gives the guitar a great vintage patina. What can we say? ...if you're looking for a super Les Paul in top condition with only minimal signs of use on the back and with a fantastic combination of sound, playability and look, you shouldn't think twice! Especially because the great overall package also includes the special feature of an anniversary model.
