For me, this Les Paul is the absolute superlative when it comes to authentic bursts. It comes from the famous Limited Run of 15 models that were built for Musikhaus Hermann. All woods are hand-selected: Premium Eastern Maple top, super lightweight Mahogany body (one piece). Months of preparatory work and selections went into this one. Other features include an ultra accurate top shaping, Tom Murphy painted in Tom's exclusive Burst finish, Tom Murphy Authentic Aged Vintage look and feel, Tom Murphy pickup selection lightly underwound Custombucker, Hide Glue. These Les Pauls are not available for reorder and are now being traded at the highest prices. And on top of that, there is a special 60th Anniversary certificate signed by Tom Murphy. The sound of this Les Paul is also beyond superlatives for me. This guitar vibrates extremely well with its 3660 grams dry. And the "lightly underwound" Custombuckers transmit this to the amp in the best possible way. You can tell that Tom Murphy tried to reproduce the character of a real old Burst, which he did very well. Dream tone with lots of character and a fantastic response. You simply have to play this Les Paul yourself. Since this Les Paul was the last of the 15 Limited's, Tom Murphy has painted and lacquered it completely in the new Murphy Lab, which is why it comes with 2 certificates. Congratulations already to the new owner! The guitar is in mint condition.
