Jimmy Page - legendary guitarist of Led Zeppeiln - received a Les Paul from Joe Walsh in 1969, which has been his constant companion ever since. Jimmy originally thought it was a 1960, but it later turned out that it was actually a 1959 Sunburst. Musikhaus Hermann had only a few specimens of this Les Paul replicated as part of their “Inspired by” series, which were produced as aged models and in the more affordable VOS version. Here we have a VOS model that is the perfect interpretation of one of the most famous vintage guitars. The neck profile is somewhere between a 59 and 60 profile. Definitely more beefy than the typical slim taper profile. Optimal playability in combination with the dream weight of this Les Paul of only 3780. It also comes with great MHH specs such as a selected, beautifully grained Eastern Maple top in an attractive, VOS-patinated “Antique Fade Burst” finish and an extra dark, selected rosewood fingerboard. And on the amp the extremely resonant InPage with its specially wound MHH Custombucker is simply killer! Super dynamic, open sound with a great tone!
