Jimmy Page - legendary guitarist of Led Zeppeiln - received a Les Paul from Joe Walsh in 1969, which has been his constant companion ever since. Jimmy originally thought it was a 1960, but it later turned out that it was actually a 1959 Sunburst. In 2021 Musikhaus Hermann only had a few specimens of this Les Paul replicated as part of their "Inspired by" series. You can't get any closer to the original of Jimmy Page's Number One than with these Les Pauls. According to Grand Guitars magazine, in which this guitar was featured, they are even closer to the original than the official Gibson Les Paul No.1 Jimmy Page. Jörg Hermann had these guitars fitted with high-end features and aging by the Murphy Lab that couldn't be more authentic. So here we have the perfect interpretation of one of the most famous vintage guitars. Based on the original this replica features the characteristic "Jimmy Page No. 1" profile, which results in a very slim neck. It also comes with a selected Eastern maple top, Custombuckers that can be split using push/pull potis, hide-glue, gold-tagged Grover kidney tuners and an extra dark, selected rosewood fingerboard. Plus a a dream weight of just 3780 grams. And on the amp the Inpage is simply killer! Super dynamic, open sound with a great tone! Thanks to the two push/pull potis for splitting the humbuckers fantastic singlecoil and clean sounds can also be produced. Absolutely remarkable what the guys from Murphy Lab have built here! "Whola Lotta Love", "Rock and Roll", "Immigrant Song" - these are the sounds that this special gem is made for. Of course an absolute must-have for every Jimmy Page fan, but certainly also super interesting for all lovers of great Rock sounds and phenomenal vintage looks. As a special treat this guitar not only comes to its new owner from collector's hand in mint, almost unplayed condition, but also together with the "Grand Gtrs" edition, in which the InPages were described in a 6-string feature.
