Here we have a classic '58 Les Paul in absolute top form, aged by the master himself, Tom Murphy. Super authentic artificial signs of aging and use as well as a beautiful plain top with a fantastic color gradient. Countless hairline cracks and lots of dings and dongs. And the finish here is also top-notch with a classic sunburst as we know it from the real old Paulas. This aspect has been taken even further here as this guitar also comes with True Historic specs such as selected woods, hide glue, super-thin nitrocellulose lacquer etc.. In addition, it is a very resonant lightweight weighing only 3910 grams, which resonates excellently even when played dry. The neck has a grippy 58 profile, but is by no means too thick and plays great with the slightly higher frets. Simply pure Paula at the amp! Very direct with a great attack and a smacking, differentiated sound.
