Everyone knows this one by now, ...one of the most sought-after Les Pauls, the Gibson Les Paul 58 Slash First Standard in the strictly limited Aged version. For me it's still one of the best that has ever left the Gibson Custom Shop. Whether as a player or an investment, this guitar is one of the absolute Gibson highlights. It is the exact replica of Slash's '58 First Standard. Even the Gibson Custom Shop says that it was the most elaborate project to date in terms of aging and attention to detail. These Paulas have long been sold out worldwide and prices are rising steadily. But the guitar not only guarantees the best value retention, it is also a top player with the perfect sound characteristics and a killer look. The aging, by master craftsman Tom Murphy himself, is truly unparalleled. Countless hairline cracks applied by hand, lots of traces of use and simply super authentic! Even the smallest detail of Slash's original '58 is meticulously reproduced here. Fantastic neck with a pleasant Medium-59 profile, by no means as thick or bulky as some '58 necks. It plays fantastically, especially in combination with the absolute dream weight of this Les Paul of only 3640 grams!  ...and the sound is reminiscent of Guns 'n' Roses: already loud and extremely resonant when played dry, the custom-wound Custombuckers lets the shreds fly on the amp.
