There are Les Pauls where everything just fits. This 58 reissue from a small series limited to 10 copies for the Music Store is just such a case. Color, grain, feel, weight and sound - you have to give it full marks everywhere! The "Lightly Flamed" top in Ice Tea Burst is simply a feast for the eyes, especially since the flame is surprisingly clear when viewed from the right angle. From the ideal weight of 3.97 kg, the guitar gets all the resonance out of it, so that the overtones just bubble out even without an amp. The previous owner replaced the original Custombuckers with the Kloppmann Peter Weihe Deluxe Set, which includes not only the two humbuckers, but also Old Stock Bumblebee Paper-in-Oil capacitors. This set is just a pure joy on the amp. Just like the old PAFs, the pickups sound not only smacky and rich, but also wonderfully brilliant and transparent. Many original Bursts are said to have a "Tele on Steroids" sound, and that's exactly what you get here! The Kloppmann set cost over 800 Euros, so you save yourself some real money here. The original pickups are included, of course. The neck has a nice strong 58 profile, which is just great in the hand. If you are looking for the perfect mix of Player-Les-Paul and a piece of jewelry to look at and rave about, you might find the guitar for life here. Apart from some dings and dongs on the back, the Les Paul is in top condition.
