Players beware! I can highly recommend this Les Paul to anyone who is looking for the ultimate Les Paul for everyday playing. It is a one-of-a-kind, its specs were put together as part of Musikhaus Hermann's M2M (Made to Measure) program. All woods are hand-selected - hence the ultra-light body, for example - and included are all the new 2015 specs like Hide Glue, Custombucker, etc. For the neck, the specification was the neck of the CC#4 Sandy. So the guitar is sort of a hybrid of a 59 neck and a 58 plaintop body. The color is Bourbon Burst and the plaintop top is of the very finest. The custombuckers are factory black with no cover. But the absolute highlight here is the sound, which comes across as extremely resonant and open. What I like most is the sound in the distorted and distorted range - so tight, direct, without mud with a super tone and resonance, well suited for chords and riffs. And in the lead range it sings very nicely with great overtones. This is where I really get into raptures. The guitar has a few light belt buckle scratches on the back, but is otherwise in top condition.
