The Gibson CC#43 Mick Ralphs was one of the last Collectors Choice guitars to be built. It was one of the few guitars that was built entirely using the True Historic process. With this guitar you just notice the experience Gibson gained during the complete CC series. The aging is very authentic and the guitar has countless fine hairline cracks that come damn close to a real weather-checking. And this #104 has a killer top too! Custom Wound Custom Bucker 3 pickups were installed to get as close as possible to the sound of Mick Ralphs original. This CC43 is just a damn good Les Paul. Collector's value or Collectors Coice status aside, you're getting a super instrument here that meets the highest sonic standards. Very airy, dynamic and differentiated, with just the right mids and basses and somewhat tighter output. Optimal for all friends of concise rock riffs and solo sounds a la Gary Moore. The neck is, as you might expect with a 58 model, not fat, more of a medium 59 profile. The guitar is in top condition.
