"What a weapon!" was my thought when I plugged this simple Bourbon Burst into the amp for the first time and started playing. Even dry it made a round and full impression. But what the unpotted (i.e. unwaxed) Custombuckers make of the basic sound deserves its own appreciation. This Paula smacks and sings that it is a real pleasure. On top of that, the powerful but shapely '58 neck provides tons of sustain. This is truly playing in the absolute Champions League when it comes to sound. In addition, the Bourbon Burst is not an everyday model, because the woods were hand-selected by Musikhaus Herrmann. This is noticeable on the top, for example, because although the '58s usually come as a plain top, you can also see a slight flame here from the right angle. Just the right guitar for those who want an upper class Paula with an understatement look. The guitar comes to you in 100% mint condition.
