Shortly after their release the CC12s were sold out and meanwhile have almost completely disappeared from the scene. Therefore we are very pleased to offer you serial number 102 of this Goldtop, which was produced in a strictly limited edition of 300 pieces. It is an exact replica of Henry Juszkiewicz' 57 Goldtop, former CEO of Gibson. Like all Collectors Choice guitars it is characterized by an authentic aging, top workmanship and best vibration behavior. Played dry, it is already very loud and vibrates phenomenally. Connected to the amp, it is really fascinating how exactly Gibson has captured the typical 57 Goldtop sound here with the two Custombuckers. Direct, fast, and lively with just the right mids and highs for a decent rock board and wonderfully differentiated bass. But it also handles the quieter, slightly distorted Blues sounds very convincingly. The medium to strong neck with the rounded shoulders guarantees optimal, fatigue-free playing pleasure and the deep dark rosewood fingerboard is wonderful to flit over. All around a beautiful, soundmighty top player with best value retention, which we can offer you including the frets in top condition.
