Meanwhile I am really a fan of this 60th Anniversary series. Simply great what Gibson is bringing to the market in woods, finish, paint quality and sound. The 1960 60th Anniversary model is available in 3 neck variations, with the designations V1, V2 and V3. The V1 profile is the most powerful of the three profiles and corresponds to a medium 59 profile. Only slightly slimmer than a 59 profile and ideal for those who find the 60's Slim Tapper necks too flat and the more grippy 59's necks a bit too strong. Plays simply dreamlike. I really like the Deep Cherry Sunburst, which is about the same as a 60's Burst, which is not faded. Great Flame-Top and here even the mahogany grain on the back of the body and neck can delight. Soundwise very open and dynamic, as played for a long time and the unpotted custom-buckers smack at the finest. The guitar is in mint condition and has only a small flaking of varnish on the headstock side (see picture 18) and a minimal scratch on the strap pin, which could not be captured photographically. The frets have no signs of playing. In addition, with 3780 grams it is a super resonant lightweight.
