For all lovers of a slim neck we have here an absolute dream 1960s Les Paul from Gibson's Murphy Lab. Just like its historical models, it comes with top-hat knobs, double-ring Kluson tuners and a beautiful orange sunburst, which is called "Orange Lemon Fade" here. And, of course, the slightly slimmer neck that Les Pauls from this year of manufacture are known for. Still, we're not dealing with a really thin "slim taper" profile, but rather a slimmed-down '59 neck, it feels like. Perfect for whizzing around, but you still get the feeling of holding something in your hand here. Sound-wise, the custom buckers make for a crunchy, defined but still round sound. The slimmer neck doesn't seem to steal anything from the sound here, because whether clean or distorted, the guitar presents itself with more than enough substance. In addition, the great optics with the extensively flamed top and the ultra-light relicing ... who is into 1960s Les Pauls, comes here fully at his expense! The icing on the cake is the dream weight of just 3.83 kg. Mint condition!
