Just in time for the 60th anniversary of the 1960 Les Paul Standard, Gibson is launching a 60th Anniversary model. This model comes in 3 neck variations, labeled V1, V2 and V3. Here we have the V3 profile, which is the same as the 60's Slim Tapper profile, though I find it to be not even that flat compared to the very slim Jimmy Page or Joe Walsh profiles. Optimal for those who can't handle the thicker profiles on Gibson and are looking for more of a slim profile with a modern feel. As with all 60th Anniversary models we have had so far, this Les Paul convinces with the best wood selection, top sound and top workmanship. Beautifully figured top and a very beautiful sunburst. I am really a fan of ths 60th Anniversary Les Pauls. At the amp simply a geat sound. Very open, with a super response and endless sustain. This Paula articulates properly and you can control the tone perfectly with the touch. Dream weight with only 3750 grams. The guitar is in top condition and the frets have no play marks.
