We have already mentioned several times that we're big fans of the 60th Anniversary Les Pauls. But every time we get a guitar from this series, we have to say it again! The specimen with serial number 00191 comes in the V1 version, which emulates the early 1960s Les Pauls. On the one hand, the golden Tophat pot knobs are installed, as known from the 1959 Les Pauls, on the other hand, the neck has the somewhat thicker, also 59s V1 profile. Feels great in the hand. Even dry, the guitar sounds very voluminous, but at the same time lively and direct - the perfect blend that you want to hear from a Les Paul. The Alnico III Custombuckers translate this sound at the amp into a smacky-juicy, but always differentiated burst-round experience. And because also the top with its clear grain and the subtle color Antiquity Burst just looks great, one can say: More is not possible! Unfortunately, the previous owner has put the guitar in a guitar stand, which has slightly attacked the nitro varnish and left small traces (see pictures). For this there is also a special price and the first own scratch does not hurt quite so much. Except for the slight marks, the guitar is as good as unplayed in top condition.
