This truly incredible Les Paul was a special order from Musikhaus Hermann. Together with Tom Murphy they put this Les Paul together and what came out is just a wonderful instrument with a fabulous look and a weight of only 3590 grams. The highlights of this Les Paul are the Authentic handmade finish by Tom Murphy, a selected ultra premium Eastern Maple top, complete Hide glue finish, selected lightweight solid mahogany body and Tom Murphy's initials in the control compartment. The pickups used here are the custom made NPC TH MCMR and XHCMR custom pickups, each in the unpotted version. In combination with the super resonant, open vibration behavior goes here simply the sun on the amp! It is really hard to describe how dynamic, full of character and differentiated this Les Paul sounds. Here Tom Murphy shows what can be done when the master himself chooses the woods and also varnishes the instrument himself. The neck profile is rather medium to slim for a '59 Les Paul. Goes more in the direction of a 60's profile. Very modern feel. Ideal for those who find the typical 59 necks too strong. It's really rare to get your hands on such a dream instrument. The guitar has some minimal playing marks. The frets are in top condition.
