The Les Pauls from the HS Historic Select series are certainly among the best that came out of the Gibson Custom Shop so far. This HS9 again clearly shows how high Gibson has set the bar for these models. This guitar is simply stunning ! All woods hand selected and of course all True Historic Specs. The top looks different from every angle and here even the back is of the very finest. The finish was taken from the well known CC Believer Burst. Great look and feel, which is only surpassed by the sound.Here you simply notice the hand-selected woods. At the first dry play you miss first of all no amp. The guitar vibrates great and is really loud when dry. Even unamplified you can hear how differentiated the guitar is and what a wide frequency spectrum it has. Very pleasant weight with only 3920 grams. At the amp it unfolds a spitzen tone ... sings and smacks and even has that slight Strat-part for which the real old Bursts are known. The guitar is in top condition with only minimal play marks (very light belt buckle marks on the back, minimal). The frets are as good as new.The original price was exactly 7.999,- Euro. At the moment security locks are mounted, the original belt pins are included.
