This beautiful Collector's Choice Les Paul is based on a Burst from Vic DaPra's collection. The original is one of the best-preserved '59 Les Pauls and therefore shows few signs of use, which is why the replica, which is limited to 300 pieces, also shows only comparatively discreet aging. The top impresses not only with its flames, but also with its rich red colour, as the original has hardly faded. But it is not only visually that we are dealing with an absolute dream guitar. The neck has a rather fat 59 profile, but it is carved out for best playing comfort. Even without the amp, you notice the power of the sound: "Gabby" is incredibly vibrant, rich and well-balanced the first time you play it. This impression continues seamlessly with the amp. With clean tones, it is warm and bluesy; with distortion, it is smacky, differentiated and with killer sustain. The fact that "Gabby" weighs less than 4 kg despite its huge sound shows impressively what masterpieces come from the Collector's Choice series.
