The Gibson Collectors Choice #46 Kathryn is an exact replica of the 1959 Les Paul that is now owned by Scott Bradoka. The interesting thing about this Kathryn is that unlike many other Collectors Choice models, it was made entirely to True Historic Specs. Here we have a very special, very resonant lightweight at only 3670 grams. The look is also fully convincing ... beautiful authentic burst and a super successful aging. Soundwise simply the hammer! Often it is said with the real old Bursts, that they also have a certain Strat-part, ie that they sound pearly and are not at all muddy or too bass-heavy. And that's exactly what Gibson has done with this Kathryn. The neck pickup pearls really nice and is even for rhythm sounds best to use. At the bridge airy, open and differentiated with a great tone. The guitar is in top condition with no play marks on the frets. First choice for collectors as well as for players!
