Normally you know the 58 Reissues only with plain top. This Gibson Les Paul R8 S is characterized by a really great figured top and a beautiful burst. The neck is, according to the 58 model a little bit chunky and feels great in the hand. You have the look of a 59 Les Paul with the neck and price of a 58 Les Paul. This Les Paul is simply a tone monster! Here it shows again clearly that a strong neck in combination with a little more swing mass simply sounds fat. Simply super resonant this Les Paul and the Custombucker convince at the amp completely. Sings from the very best and with rhythm sounds it is very direct and differentiated. The guitar has a very slight imprint on the back of the guitar stand, which could not be captured in the pictures. Otherwise it is in top condition and the frets have no play marks.
