This Les Paul 1958 Mark Knopfler VOS has an absolut Killer Top! Who knows the Mark Knopfler Les Pauls knows that such a top is really extremely rare. In the meantime, these guitars have completely disappeared from the market and are almost impossible to get. Already with the VOS models prices up to 20.000,-€ are called. But this guitar convinces not only visually and with a dream weight of 3690 grams, but also sonically. Here Gibson shows quite clearly what is tonally feasible. The basses are really nice and crisp and almost remind a little of a Telecaster. Nevertheless, it sounds very warm and full, without muddling. Fantastic sustain paired with perfect playability.
