Here we have a classic, beautiful LP 58 Plaintop Reissue in top shape, aged by Tom Murphy. And this Les Paul is simply a tone monster. Fat sound that smacks nice, not muddy and sustain without end. Rocks on the bridge pickup really off, but always remains nice and open in the sound. On the neck just pure blues. I can warmly recommend to all who are simply looking for a cool rock Les Paul in a classic look. The Murphy Aging is very authentic and not too exaggerated. The neck has the typical 58 profile. So you have a little more in your hand here, which is certainly noticeable in the sound. But not a "tree trunk neck" and not too fat. The guitar has been played and is very resonating. There are a few belt buckle marks on the back, but this is hardly noticeable with the aging. The frets are still top notch and only have minimal play marks on the first three frets. Really great player with balls!
