At most once or twice a year, a Doublecut LP crosses our path, and each time we are delighted to receive one of these fantastic rock'n'roll guitars. In the case of this specimen, however, the joy was initially somewhat dampened - because unfortunately, when we opened the case, we found that the headstock had broken during transport. So we immediately took the guitar in for repair, and could hardly believe our eyes when we got it back. The break had been repaired just flawlessly. As you can see from the photos, you can't see a thing! You also don't notice the break in any way sonically. This Les Paul sings like it was never broken. Les Paul Specials always sound a bit more wiry and direct than Les Paul Standards, giving you a real machine here for rock and assertive, pearly clean sounds. In combination with the flame look simply a killer guitar for living room, rehearsal room and stage. In the end, the neck break has only advantages for you, because of course it reduces the price significantly. Apart from its accident history, the guitar is in top condition, as it was virtually unplayed before. Our tip for all players!
