Rarely have we seen such a cool Dark Cherry as on this 61 SG. Dark and heavily grained it provides an eye-catching look with understatement. Otherwise the guitar is the ideal SG for those, who are into the early variant of this model. Historically correct it comes with Les Paul lettering on the headstock, nylon nut, paper-in-oil capacitors, truss rod without rubber tubing, the small four-ply pickguard and the typical Slim-Taper neck. Fortunately the latter is not quite as thin as some vintage SGs of this era. Here you have a little more in the hand, especially in the upper registers, without losing the typical comfortable SG playing feel. As pickups are two unpotted Alnico-III-Custombucker installed, which deliver the typical three-dimensional, pearly and yet fat sound, which is also known from the old Gibsons. Killer sound, which can be used not only for AC/DC and Black Sabbath, but also for Blues, Jazz and even Funk. In addition it has a dream weight of not even 3 kg! Apart from minimal traces of use, we can offer you the guitar in top condition.
