With this Mick Jones Les Paul Custom, the aging boss from the Custom Shop was certainly allowed to put in a few extra layers. I've rarely seen an aged LP in which so many details were so authentically reproduced. From the numerous hairline cracks, to countless dings and dongs, to the overspray on the back, covered pickup routing in the middle and the implied neck break. Here we have the truly exact replica of the legendary Foreigner guitarist's main Paula. Even with the two mini switches retrofitted by Mick Jones to replace the 3 way toggle switch. The neck has a 59 C profile, not too fat and with frets in super condition. The sound ... how could it be different, fat LP custom rock sound that doesn't muddy and comes through great. The body is a one-piece mahogany body. Here we have a great player Les Paul, not only because of the limited number of pieces, but especially because of the great playability and great sounds. The guitar is in top condition, except for the aging work of the custom shop.
