A Les Paul Custom "Black Beauty" is considered one of the most beautiful and desirable guitars of all time. This 1957 reissue was built as part of a small series limited to 25 pieces on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Musikhaus Thomann in 2014. First of all, the amazingly light weight of 3860 grams is remarkable. The neck is a little stronger, but feels very comfortable in the hand and gives the guitar exactly the right mass to elicit a lot of sound even when unplugged. The Custombuckers do the rest at the amp and make the guitar sound round, balanced and still crisp in every position.
