The "Bantam Elite"-Les-Paul is an early special model of the Gibson Custom Shop from 1995 and was built under this name only one year. In 1996, it was then renamed "Florentine plus". So we are dealing with an extremely rare specimen here, and one that is in virtually pristine condition to boot. Also the color seems to be a special one, because we didn't find a second one like this, not to mention that a Bantam Elite from 1995 is almost nowhere to be found anyway. The Bantam Elite was one of the high priced custom models in 1995 with a list price at that time of 6.800,-US$. The first owner bought it in 1995 and since then it lay untouched in its case. Simply a piece of untouched contemporary history of the early Gibson Custom Shop. Besides the incredible look, this Les Paul impresses with a fantastic playability and a top sound. Very direct response and a great tone. Certificate was not available at that time, but the guitar comes with the original Gibson Warranty Card with serial number and name. So if you are looking for a really exceptional Les Paul with extremely high rarity value, don't wait too long.
