We are pleased to present to you here a perfect replica of the legendary '68 LP Custom, built by the Gibson Custom Shop as part of its "Made to Measure" program. Every detail has been meticulously taken care of - from the gold Kluson waffleback tuners via the stylish ebony fingerboard with beautiful block inlays to the visual detail of the Witchhat pot knobs that is unmistakable for this era. You can't get any closer to an old 68! The aging on this dream Paula is phenomenal! Fantastic nitro lacquer cracks cover the entire body giving the Black finish on the maple top an authentic vintage patina. But this guitar doesn't just look good, it's a top player too. The neck with its Medium-C profile and 12'' radius fits comfortably - almost like a glove - in the hand, chords, as well as licks can be played with extreme ease. And the 68 Custombuckers deliver a fantastic sound: well balanced with enormous bite! On amp the ultimate rock Les Paul, fast response, differentiated, super attack, great frequency spectrum, smacking sound with tight lows and just the right highs.
