This dream Black Beauty was a special order for Musikhaus Hermann. I've been an LP custom player myself for 20 years and here I could almost become weak myself. Super lightweight with only 3750 grams and super resonance. Vibrates incredibly well and is very balanced. For the neck, the default was the neck of the CC#7 Shanks, which is minimally slimmer than a 59 neck. Optimal fit and with the slightly higher frets you get a very modern playing comfort. Aging is rather subtle, but very authentic. Hairline cracks all over the guitar and a few dings and dongs, immediately reminded me of my own LP Custom :-). Of course the latest 2020 specs like True Historic process finish (thinner varnish), Paper-In-Oil capacitors, authentic Gibson logo on the headstock, Unpotted pickups etc. The woods are hand-selected and here the guys at Gibson really had a very good hand. On the amp the ultimate rock Les Paul ... fast response, differentiated, super attack, great frequency spectrum. smacking sound with tight basses and just the right treble. The Unpotted Alinco III pickups do a great job! Here you really get the absolute reference Les Paul Custom without compromise. The guitar is as good as unplayed in mint condition incl. the said case, COA and hangtags. Original price was 7.900,- Euro and a aged LP Custom 57 with 3750 grams will probably not be available again anytime soon.
