And once again we were able to get our hands on a specimen of the highly coveted Les Paul Custom Robbie Krieger “L.A. Woman” in the “Aged & Signed” version! This guitar is an exact replica of the Doors guitarist's Custom Paula, which was immortalized on the song “L.A. Woman” and with which he made music history in the 60s. Only 50 pieces were built in the signed version, of which we can offer you serial number 25 here. In addition to the collector's factor this Les Paul is also a real top player. In terms of sound, the pickup configuration alone makes it something very special. The Seymour Duncan mini-humbucker on the neck sounds extremely open and somewhere between Strat and Les Paul with wonderful sustain. The killer for singing solos! The typical throaty, differentiated P90 sound at the bridge. Especially with slightly distorted sounds you can really work with the great tone here. The aging is not too subtle and very authentic with every trace of play and use of the original being replicated in detail. The neck has a medium to grippy profile that is really pleasant and comfortable to play.
