This is exactly how I imagine the ultimate Les Paul Custom player guitar! Actually, we don't sell vintage guitars anymore, but here we couldn't say no. This Paula had a headstock hairline crack (no break through) which was repaired by André Waldenmaier from Staufer Guitars so professionally that nothing is visible anymore. There was nothing chipped, just a thin crack. And as you know, now nothing can ever break here again. It's a dream look that Murphy would probably have a hard time to replicate. We also had the guitar re-bound by Staufer Guitars with 6105 frets to make it optimally playable, the jack plate and a tailpiece were also replaced. For a Les Paul Custom from 1973 it also has a great weight of only 4100 grams and resonates great. Very pleasant medium neck, which can be played fantastically with the refinished frets. The original Pat.No. pickups deliver exactly the sound you expect from a vintage Les Paul Custom, ...open, differentiated, great attack. If you are looking for the optimal Les Paul Custom with original vintage flair and best player characteristics, you will have your real pleasure here. All four pots are dated to 1973. But anyway, here we have a Les Paul that is more for the active player than for the collector. And the way it sounds and plays it should be used immediately. Considering that you can't even get a new Custom Shop Les Paul Custom for the money you really can't go wrong here!
