Unlike his colleague Keith Richards, Stones guitarist Ron Wood was never associated with just one guitar model. Among the numerous models he played throughout his career, therefore, is the rare Gibson L-5S. In the '70s, he played an early original, and in 1986, the first signature model was custom-made for him. In 2015, the Custom Shop built him the last L-5S version to date - limited to 300 pieces, 50 of them hand-signed. We can offer you #24 of this black beauty. Besides the elegant body shape, a special feature of the L-5S is that - apart from the walnut fingerboard - it is built entirely of maple. In addition, it comes with custom-built Burstbuckers that add depth to the guitar's lively basic sound. Due to the wonderfully shaped, medium slim neck and the above-average sustain, we can also recommend this L-5S as a player without any reservations. Super Les-Paul alternative with a more aggressive basic sound! The guitar comes with moderate playing marks, but they were hard to photograph.
