Gibson J-45 Slash November Burst (2020)

The unique and extensive Slash Collection represents iconic Gibson guitars that Slash has used throughout his long career and that have inspired several generations of players around the world. The Slash J-45, made in Bozeman, MT, is part of this “Gibson Slash Collection” and offers a mix of traditional and modern features. These include a “Slash Custom” neck, which is slightly stronger with a V profile and incredibly great to play, a flatter, more modern 16-inch fingerboard radius and the L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system for stage use. This guitar also features the exclusive “Slash Scully” logo on the back of the headstock and the Slash signature on the truss rod cover. In addition to these exclusive features it also features the traditional specs for which the classic “workhorse” J-45 is known: resonant spruce top, back and sides made of sound-loving mahogany, round shoulder, dovetail with hide-glue and a wonderfully woody and open sound with a great frequency spectrum. The fact that this special signature acoustic also looks really good in its formidable “November Burst” finish, especially with its exceptionally beautiful top, only rounds off the great overall package.
